Dr. Jessica Bennett
-
Jessica has been a member at Crossfit Bexley since 2020 and recently became a level one CrossFit coach. Fitness has been a huge part of her life for as long as she can remember. She is a three-time graduate of the Ohio State University and when she was a junior, she was invited to walk onto the rowing team. In 2002, Jessica stroked the 1st novice 8 to a Big Ten Championship and a Central regional Championship. In 2003, as a senior she received a scholarship to row for the Varsity Crew and placed 8th at the NCAA championships in the pair. It was during her rowing career that she was also introduced to heavy lifting, intense metcon training, and Yoga.
After college Jess ran in a dozen half- marathons, competed in triathlons, stayed committed to her weight training, continued practicing yoga, and learned how to play tennis. A teacher by trade, she has also been teaching people in the fitness space since she was 15: From teaching swim lessons, to coaching track, and as a 500-hour registered yoga teacher.
Jess had happily found her home at CrossFit Bexley and loves to continually work on improving her fitness. She is focused on staying as strong and mobile as possible through the aging process. Jess is excited to coach for CrossFit Bexley as a way to give back to the amazing community here that has given her and her family a platform for total wellness—physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially.
Colin Northrup

Colin is a native of Bexley where he grew up playing every sport he could find and eventually settled into year-round soccer and wrestling careers. He continued both sports as a varsity athlete at Dublin Coffman High School and at the club level as an exercise science major at The University of Cincinnati. Post college he spent several years ambitiously chasing his newly born dream of making a living as a traveling rock climber and soon settled back in Columbus after a short stint in Chicago where he picked up personal training as one of many odd jobs collected to finance life on the road.
Nearly ten years later he was introduced to Crossfit when Coleman invited him to workout at Crossfit Clintonville and he was hooked. He started training his personal clients at the gym shortly after meeting Pat, Brian, and Ahmed that same day and then quickly took the plunge into coaching securing his CF-L1 in January 2019. Haley SCHROEDER
-
Haley is semi native to Columbus (Granville) and was first exposed to CrossFit there in 2011.
Coming home for summer breaks, she’d drop in from time to time at her local CrossFit to keep up with her summer conditioning goals. Haley played DIII Women’s Lacrosse at Wittenberg University, where she served as Captain her senior year. Upon graduating in 2017, Haley longed for a team-like environment with competitive spirit. With her dad recently acquiring his L-2 status at the time, he pushed her to return to CrossFit to fill what she had been missing.
By summer of 2020, Haley had moved in with her best friend and current member, Jack, in Clintonville. Which eventually led her to join CFC full time.
She fell in love with the CFC and CFB communities and wanted to further invest herself by obtaining her L-1 in November of 2021. She began coaching at the start of 2022 and has thoroughly enjoyed helping members at both CFC and CFB reach fitness levels they didn’t realize were possible.

Hey CFB! I have been doing CrossFit since 2014, when I ended my high school swimming career and joined my parents at their box in Dover, Ohio, where I grew up. I continued my education at Ohio State, which is what brought me to Columbus. During my college career I walked onto the OSU Novice Rowing Team for the 2015-16 season and then began my coaching career at CrossFit Clintonville in fall of 2016, where I met Brian. I coached at CFC for over 4 years, during which I earned my CF-L2 Cert. In 2021, I moved to St Louis, MO for Chiropractic School. While I was living there, I continued coaching at CrossFit Wildwood, where I had the opportunity to coach and train with Games and Semifinals athletes, as well as personal training with adaptive athletes. Last month, I finished with my Student Clinic rotations and in-person coursework and am finishing my education with an internship at Columbus Spine and Sport Center with Dr Anna and Dr Kyle, where I will practice upon graduation. I will officially graduate with my DC in April, but I am currently accepting new patients at CSSC

STEPHEN DOOLEY
-
"Dooley" is a southern boy who moved to Ohio in 2021 from Seattle. Dooley became an avid rock climber in his 30's until his son came along in 2012 & he became a full time stay-at-home dad.
..
He found Crossfit in 2016 and because of his love for handstand walks and gymnastics he decided to take the L1 in 2020 to indoctrinate the world about Crossfit & started his NASM certification for Personal Training in 2022. He is passionate about DEI efforts in fitness communities as well as expanding options for athletes aged 50+.
..
New to Columbus, Dooley coached in Toledo for a couple of years before joining Bexley. He was happy to see the diversity of folks at CrossFit Bexley; different age groups, ethnicities, abilities and sexual orientations. When not being obnoxiously active you can find him scanning the Lego Aisle to add to his insane Lego collection his son can never touch or finding ways to get involved in the community.
